15/01/2022 - Update: The planning application for the Solar Farm has been submitted.  Please see the link on the Parish Council's planning applications page for further details.


04/03/2022 - Update: Leckhampstead Parish Council have received a response from Opdenergy to some of the points/concerns raised in their letter of 5th February 2022.

Buckinghamshire Council’s planning team have also commented as follows:

 

“Your questions relate to matters which will be considered as part of her assessment and shall either be outlined in the final report or via requests seeking additional/amended information which in light of new practices we do not request as a matter of course. As such, we are unable to answer the questions posed at this stage but your comments will be uploaded and considered as part of this application.”

 

The standard consultation expiry date has been extended until 16th March 2022. An Extraordinary Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Thursday 10th March at 7pm to discuss this application.


15/03/2022 - Update: The Parish Council unanimously agreed to object in full to this application.


08/05/2022 - Update: Opdenergy have submitted several amended documents.  Please see the link on the Parish Council's planning applications page for further details.  The standard consultation expiry date is 23rd May 2022.  A further Extraordinary Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Thursday 12th May at 8pm to discuss matters.


13/05/2022 - Update: The Parish Council agreed to continue their objections to this application as the amended documents submitted by Opdenergy did not address any of the concerns previously raised.


15/12/2023 - Update: Buckinghamshire Council's planning team has approved this application subject to detailed pre-commencement conditions including items such as landscaping, environmental management, archaeological evaluation and surface water drainage. PLEASE NOTE: To avoid any misunderstanding or confusion, all the documents relate to the proposed site which is partly on land at Weatherhead Farm and partly on adjoining land at Wicken Park Farm, with access from Wicken Park Road which leads off the A422.
